The Science Student's Pacific Island Association (SSPIA) provides a platform for pasifika students in sciences to network and support each other during their academic journey at the University of Otago. The space is created to capture the interest of our students in unique science careers so that they add value and build capacity in our communities.

SSPIA works closely alongside the Pacific team at the Division of Sciences to enable a safe space of interaction, support and guidance for our students.
