Sauna Hours & New Late-Night Session!
  • Weekday Hours: Open from 8:00 AM, Monday to Friday*
  • Weekend Hours: Open from 10:00 AM

🔥 New! Late-Night Sauna at 9 PM 🔥
We've added a short 30-minute session from 9:00 - 9:30 PM, perfect for a quick evening unwind. Please return your key to reception by 9:45 PM, as the centre closes shortly after. The shorter session is $4 for students, $12 for non-students (Private session price is $30 for students, $50 for non-students). Terms and conditions apply.

We always strive to enhance your experience and accommodate as much as possible. Our updates are flexible, and if something doesn’t work out, we’ll adjust accordingly. 

Set at a steamy 84 degrees, our sauna is located on the third floor of the Clubs & Socs building, and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Semester Time: 

  • at the moment sessions are Monday - Friday 8am - 9:30pm. All sessions run on the hour for 45 minutes EXCEPT the 9pm session - we will trial this for a few weeks and see how we go. The 9pm session finishes at 9:30pm.

Reduced Hours (Centre open from 10am-5pm): closed on weekends, day time sauna sessions TBC.

You have 45 minutes to the sauna and 15 minutes to exit, get changed and return your key to reception (30min for 9pm session, 15 minutes to return to reception). 

$6 for students* and $15 for non-students (discounted concessions cards available). Payment is required before booking your spot.  You will need to show your Student ID to receive student rates. No cash payments sorry, EFTPOS or credit card only if paying onsite.

Private/closed sessions (for yourself or friends): $30 total for students or $50 total for non-students (irrelevant of how many people turn up, maximum 8). To book a private/closed session simply book up all 8 spots. To receive the student rate all participants must be students and show their Student ID.

*Student rates apply to current Otago University and Otago Polytechnic students. Please read through all Terms & Conditions before making  your booking.

We are in the process of  changing our booking system, therefor we do not sell concession cards at the moment. We honor existing ones if they are not expired.
