HEALTH AND SAFETY

Debbie explained the reporting of Health and Safety within the organisation to the new Executive.

There is nothing to report this meeting.

OUSA UPDATE

Debbie explained the structure of OUSA, the different departments and their Manager’s.

Orientation 2019 is the major focus at the moment.

Starters Bar is having a makeover of essential areas.  The recruitment process is nearly finalised for a Venue Manager.  There is a flat upstairs that goes with the Bar so OUSA will be employing a property manager to manage it on our behalf.

Josh went off-line at 11:12am and returned at 11:14am

James gave his update:

• 4,000 local body elections forms are to be included in the first year packs
• The Executive will be having a Marae visit as part of their training.
• Te Reo Māori starting to be incorporated within OUSA environment.  Reception have a greetings and email sign off sheet to use, memorandum templates now including both languages
• More bilingual signage being investigated
• Two good ‘Summers in Dunners’ events thus far
