RECREATION PROGRAMMES INSIGHT
Abi was invited to address the meeting. Abi wants an insight on how things are working with the programmes and if there are any changes to be made. Is the present structure meeting student’s needs?
It was agreed most students are busy and didn’t really know about the programmes.
Most agreed there were a decent number of programmes on offer with a good variety but better marketing of them needed. More social marketing suggested and a calendar overview.
Would less commitment to classes with low cost a better option. IE: rather than 5-week programmes, cut them down to 2 or 3 weeklies.
It was requested also that advertising be channelled to International, Te Rōpū Māori and Pacifica students.
Perhaps a survey to students in the future with a good prize incentive to gauge ideas.
Abi encouraged people to keep her in the loop and ensure you email her with any ideas or concerns.
