The Executive will workshop the questions especially the ones with positive votes.
It was noted how many voters abstained. Some of the results didn’t give a clear indication of what our members want from us.

STUDENT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING DATE
An incorporated society is required to hold at least one general meeting a year, usually an AGM. The Executive to consider a suitable date, questions, agenda items and incentives to get our members to attend, especially to reach quorum of at least 98 members.
EXECUTIVE 2025 ELECTION DATES
sc220/24 THAT nominations for the 2025 Executive Elections open at 9am on 9 September 2024 and close at 4pm on 12 September 2024.

THURSDAYS IN BLACK HUI FEEDBACK
As attached. Emphasis on promoting awareness of sexual harm and OUSA executive’ duty in doing so. Perhaps specific action times surrounding drink spiking such as drink covers. Tara to look into this further.
Survey results could be shared.
RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES SUBMISSION
It was expressed that this submission should be shortened. Keegan will discuss with Liam. Additionally, more focus should be given to quicker response times for patience on flats to avoid deterioration.

sc223/24 THAT the submission of the Otago University Students’ Association on the Residential Tenancies Amendment Bill to the Social Services and Community Committee be submitted with the above amendments and additions.

Executive second quarter reports have been received. It is to be noted that four were late and one hasn’t been received. These will be presented at the next Executive meeting.
Semester two Executive meetings will start on 11 July at 9am and weekly thereafter.
