HEALTH AND SAFETY
A staff member bumped into a hand sanitiser dispenser and bruised their hand. No harm done. The dispenser has now been brightly labelled.
OUSA UPDATE
Re-Ori – all rescheduled events ready to go. Hopefully weather will be ok for outdoor events.

There have been many meetings with Feldspar Associates, project managers and the Finance and Expenditure (FEC) Committee about the redevelopment. Debbie emailed a document for the Executive approval on what the upper level will be used for but some of the Executive haven’t read it yet so this will be deferred until the next meeting, however Debbie will continue as scheduled.

130TH COMMEMORATIVE TREE
A sophora microphylla Kowhai Tree will be planted on the Union Lawn on 8 July 2020 at 11.30am. Jack Manning will officiate with Emeritus Professor John Broughton delivering a karakia. Former Presidents, the Vice Chancellor and others have been invited. All encouraged to attend. Birthday cake and life member presentation will follow. The plaque will be unveiled later as it isn’t ready yet.
EXECUTIVE BADGES
The Executive have produced a badge with the OUSA coat of arms on them. Executive members are welcome to have one.
GENERAL BUSINESS
The Bachelor – the President has been invited to participate in the Critic Bachelor event. Jack Manning is ready and willing.
Clubs and Societies Grants – Because of the Covid-19 lockdown period the grants rounds didn’t happen. It has been requested that the criteria be opened up to a wider group to enable others to apply owing to the situation being unique, although not to be used for International Flights.
Mischefski-Gray/Aizal
283/20 THAT the OUSA Executive amend the Grants policy for the remainder of the Grants rounds for 2020 to allow for wider eligibility.

University Survey on review of teaching and learning – this is for all students and Emily is encouraging the executive to take part and pass on to others to do the same as it is very important.
Flatting Mag’ – there is going to be a flatting mag’ produced soon, the first one since 2008.
