Remuneration: $27.80 per hour + 8% holiday pay

 

The Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival (DCBFF) is a household favourite within Dunedin and beyond and holds the status of being an industry leader in the Craft Beer and Food event environment within New Zealand. Run over two days, DCBFF opens its gates to 12,000 people showcasing over 70 vendors.

 

We are recruiting a number of Casual Events Assistants to assist with on-site labour in the lead-up and on day operations of the festival in November and the pack-down that follows. The event is held at the Forsyth Barr Stadium and runs on Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th of November.

 

We have various hours available from Monday 4th of November through to Monday 11th of November. An hour-long induction will take place the week prior.

 

• Availability over the required period

• Be able to carry out physical duties such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods at a time, etc.

• Clearly communicate with the events team and on-site supervisors

• Punctual and reliable

• Enthusiasm and initiative

• Be health & safety focused at all times

 

• Full drivers license

• Other licenses such as forklift and class 2

• LCQ Certified

• First Aid Certificate

• Sound tech experience

• Experience working within large scale events
