STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE SERVICES
Sage was welcomed to the meeting and asked to address the executive to explain how the work is delivered through the Student Support Centre.
Explaining the Operational guidelines and how the Executive see the Student Support Centre in the realm of Mental Health. He requested people to give their opinion and what they thought –
Is adequate support being asked, for Mental Health Week?
The SSC is a very good accessible avenue for students, although SSC would prefer to be offering adjacent support rather than referring students on. SSC doesn’t provide clinical services; however, they have the tools to refer students onto the relevant agencies to support their needs whilst they are in care.
Quintin also asked Sage if the Executive could do anything of assistance to the Centre?
“Thanks for championing and advocating for the Student Support Centre,” said Sage.
