RETURNING OFFICERS REPORT
Non incumbent Executive members needed to help with student engagement.
The elections dates were very late this year owing to a number of things but mostly trying to avoid the National Elections. This was problematic with executive having their exams coming up made it hard.
A suggestion to task an executive member to lead the elections process earlier in the year.
Much more advertising needed both on social media and also posters. The large board in the archway is reserved for elections each year and should have been utilised.
Te Roopu Māori have written a complaint about their blurbs being wrong and some issues with the advertising and an error on the voting page. It was suggested the letter of complaint be sent to the Association Secretary.
Moved from the Chair
444/20 THAT the Returning Officers’ Report for the OUSA 2021 Elections be received.
