Critic 2025
Want to get involved with Critic Te Ārohi and help to produce the longest-running and award-winning student magazine in the country? We are advertising for Staff Writers and Illustrators for 2025.

These are fixed-term positions for 4 hours per week, 26 weeks in total, from February 17th to October 17th 2025. You must be a student based in Dunedin, or a University of Otago student not based in Dunedin.
The illustrators will need to be creative and skilled people who will enhance our content. Ideally, you will also be familiar with using Adobe Suite (specifically Photoshop & Illustrator) and have excellent illustration skills with a fast workflow. Opportunities for training and development in other areas of other multi-media like sculpture, digital content and animating will be available.
To apply, send your CV, cover letter, OUSA application form and three examples of your work to jobs@ousa.org.nz by January 12th 2025. If you do not have a portfolio of work, we recommend you check out Critic from 2024 and create some content based on what you see in order to make it through to the next round.
