Introduction to Jewellery: Learn to Make a Silver Ring or Pendant
WHAT ITS ABOUT
Over the course of 3 weeks, you will learn to carve wax to be cast into a silver ring or pendant, clean up the silver casting, adding patina/polishing, and learn how to finish your piece to a high standard. Once finished, you will leave with a piece of silver jewllery! All materials are inclded in the overall price, so theres no need to worry about extra costs! Just come along and learn how to craft your very own piece of jewllery!
REQUIREMENTS
Highy reccommend clothing you won’t mind being marked, or an apron. Closed toe footwear is essential.
A LITTLE ON THE FACILITATORS
Johnny is a Jewller and Scuptor from Te Tai Rawhiti. They have been making Jewllery since 2016. In that time they have curated and shown work in exhibitions, worked in film and television making jewllery and sculpting specialty costume pieces (including spending two years in the armory and working with chain mail on the Lord of the Rings TV series), along with being self employed selling their pieces globally since 2018.
